What it does
OSS Growth Toolkit is a reference directory of open-source and source-available alternatives to the SaaS tools most go-to-market (GTM) teams pay for. At launch it lists 191 tools across 19 categories, from CRM and email to analytics, scheduling, forms, and automation.
What separates it from a generic open-source list is the scoring. Every tool is rated on agent accessibility: can an AI agent actually operate it? Each listing records one of four tiers:

Each listing also names the commercial products the tool replaces, what is free versus gated, the license, repository activity, and the sources used to verify every claim. A row does not publish without a verification date and the URLs behind it.

- GTM engineers assembling an agent-driveable stack and needing to know, before install, whether a tool has an MCP server or a usable API.
- Founders and small teams who want a working GTM stack without a per-seat bill for every function.
It is not a marketplace and it does not accept vendor submissions. Listings are researched, verified against primary sources, and dated.
How it works
- Browse by category or by what you want to replace. Category pages group tools by job; each tool page names the SaaS products it stands in for.
- Filter by agent accessibility. If you plan to have agents operate the tool, start with official and community MCP tiers.
- Read the free-model note. Each listing says what is actually free and what is gated behind a hosted or enterprise plan. A low free rating is recorded, not hidden.
- Check the verification trail. Every claim links to its source with the date it was checked, so you can confirm it is still true before you commit.
- Install. Listings carry an install hint pointing at the maintainer's own instructions.
